Moss walls
Andrew Antonaccio’s moss works bring portraits, figures and geometric compositions into interior architectural spaces. The available photographs show wall-mounted installations with textured green surfaces and contrasting linear forms. A portrait, a figure with circular elements, a swimmer and a larger interior installation appear in the gallery. Each offers a different view of how imagery can be built through the relationship between pattern, material and surrounding space.
Under the project label “Living moss walls,” this collection explores the contrast between organic texture and a structured image. Green areas establish a field, while lines and open spaces organize the portrait or figure within it. Looking at the individual works alongside the wider interior view shows how a composition can relate to its surrounding room.
The gallery brings several works together, including a portrait and a swimmer, with different relationships between figure and background. The proposed materials, lighting and maintenance requirements should be discussed for each setting. Share any preferences or practical constraints with your enquiry so they can be considered alongside the composition.
A conversation about a moss-wall commission can begin with the proposed room, the wall dimensions and photographs of the surrounding architecture. Include the intended use of the space, any known material restrictions and the project schedule. This information helps define the questions that need to be answered before a proposal is developed. Contact the studio through the home page to discuss the setting and the desired scope. Related works show how Andrew’s linear compositions also appear in architectural relief, exterior murals and other surfaces.
