Casa 2A
Architectural concept and design visualizations; these are not completed buildings.
Casa 2A is an architectural concept by Andrew Antonaccio for sculptural residences with linear relief surfaces. The original presentation explores the relationship between a building’s form, its exterior treatment and the spaces around it. The images are design visualizations, not photographs of completed buildings. This distinction applies to every view on this page and is essential to understanding the project as a proposal rather than a built development.
The concept extends an interest visible elsewhere in Andrew’s work: the movement of a linear composition from an image into a physical surface. In the presentation, relief becomes part of how the architecture is imagined. Changes in direction, repetition and depth contribute to the reading of the exterior. These visual studies can be considered alongside completed relief and mural projects while remaining clearly separate from evidence of construction or installation.
The tall presentation brings several visual studies into a single sequence, allowing the viewer to compare forms and surfaces as the proposal develops. These views belong to an architectural concept; they document ideas for a residence rather than a completed building.
To discuss artwork in relation to architecture, share the location and the stage of the project: early concept, design development or an existing building. Relevant images, drawings and intended surfaces can help frame the conversation. The contact section is available for mural and art-integration enquiries, including questions prompted by Casa 2A. For examples documented as installed work, visit the E11EVEN relief and The Elser mural pages. They provide a useful comparison with this concept while showing different ways Andrew’s visual language engages with buildings.
